Virtual Hand to Shoulder Fellowship, LLC has created a curriculum to accommodate generalist OTs & PTs who would like to expand their repertoire of skills to include hand therapy but are not interested in specialization. The curriculum is also ideal for COTAs & PTAs and level II fieldwork students in a hand therapy setting.
The VHSF Intro to Hand Therapy supports clinical competency through a didactic curriculum that covers foundational knowledge and common pathologies related to the upper limb and hand. We supplement the didactic curriculum with weekly group mentorship sessions and many resources, such as a video library of clinical exam skills, exercises, and orthotic fabrication.
