1. Knowledge

Our 9-module curriculum includes anatomy, kinematics, and physiology integral to developing critical thinking in hand therapy. The emphasis is helping OT educators link foundational content to clinical concepts related to upper limb and hand physical rehabilitation.  Each lecture is paired with a case study to invite experiential learning opportunities.

2. Confidence

The case studies are designed to reinforce learning and early critical thinking skills through applied knowledge. They also provide an opportunity to discuss management of 9 common conditions. The goal is to help you assist your students in understanding the power of knowledge, so they are inspired to continue to build their knowledge and be lifelong learners.

3. Competence

This curriculum was created to support OT educators in developing the competency to effectively instruct in a practice area they might be less familiar with. In a rehab setting, rehabilitation of the upper limb and hand is primarily the responsibility of OTs, thus it's imperative that OT students, in particular, are appropriately equipped to support recovery in the patient they treat. This curriculum helps educators do this and the added video resources support their efforts further.

4. Mastery

Mastery requires time. For this reason, your enrollment period is extended to allow 6-months access. Continue using the curriculum to support your education efforts. Use the case studies and our video library as resources throughout your enrollment. Extend your enrollment at a low cost if you'd like additional time.
